NEW! 2025 Cornhole Funament

Sometimes the best traditions start with a new idea, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of Gator spirit!

The inaugural SWFL Gator Club Cornhole FUN-ament brought our community together at Bay Street Yard for an unforgettable afternoon of March Madness, cornhole, and fun - and it quickly became a huge hit.

With perfect Southwest Florida weather and Bay Street Yard providing the ideal outdoor setting in Downtown Fort Myers, Gators and friends gathered to compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy one of the best parts of March: postseason basketball.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Between rounds of cornhole, everyone got to watch the Florida Gators take down the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 84-79, adding another reason to celebrate and making an already great afternoon even better.

But the biggest win of the day went beyond the scoreboard. All proceeds from the event benefited the Southwest Florida Gator Club scholarship fund, helping us support local students pursuing their education at the University of Florida.

What started as a new idea quickly showed us that this FUN-ament might just have some staying power. The enthusiasm from our participants and community made the inaugural event such a success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off a new SWFL Gator Club tradition.

A special thank you to Bay Street Yard for hosting us and providing such a fantastic space for our Gator community to come together.

Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, watched some basketball, and supported our scholarship mission.

Go Gators!
