2026 Cornhole Funament

March Madness got a little more competitive in Southwest Florida at the 2026 SWFL Gator Club Cornhole Funament!

Hosted at Bay Street Yard, an incredible gathering space in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers, the event brought Gators, friends, and a little friendly competition together for an afternoon of basketball, bags, and fundraising.

Eight teams competed in a round-robin tournament before advancing into knockout play, with plenty of close games and good-natured rivalry along the way. Even better, the event raised more than $500 for the Southwest Florida Gator Club scholarship fund - proving that a little FUN-ament can make a meaningful impact for future Gators.

When the final bags were tossed, Team Hawkeyes came out on top. While they may not have been wearing orange and blue, they quickly became part of the Gator family! The visiting couple jumped into the tournament while in the area and enthusiastically supported both the event and our scholarship mission. We were thrilled to have them join us - even if they did take home the win!

A special thank you to Bay Street Yard for sponsoring and hosting such a fun event and providing the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of competition and camaraderie.

Thank you to everyone who competed, cheered, and helped support scholarships for local students attending the University of Florida.

We’re already looking forward to the next FUN-ament!

Go Gators!
