Are you a student wanting to apply for our annual scholarship? ​​​In 2026, we awarded over 20 scholarships to local students!

Applications for the 2027-2028 school year will open in early 2027 and will be due by April 30, 2027.​
​
Current students are allowed to apply for the scholarship each year for the first four years of their undergraduate program.
OUR IMPACT:
SCHOLARSHIP
The SWFL Gator Club exists to strengthen the Gator Nation right here in our backyard - by investing in students from our local Southwest Florida community who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of Florida.
In 2025, we proudly awarded $20,000 in scholarships to local students.

HOW WE RAISE FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Later Gator Poker Run
The SWFL Gator Club presented our 5th Annual Later Gator Poker Run on April 18th, 2026.
The charity event is by boat and includes 5 stops. Boaters dock at each beautiful waterfront restaurant to get their cards. At the final stop there is a celebration to present the winning hands, raffle drawings, and giveaways.
Other Events
Throughout the year, we host several fundraising events - during football & basketball season, our VIG (Very Important Gator) event, and family-friendly sport tournaments.
Individual Donations
Individual donors are the backbone of the Southwest Florida Gator Club.
Every gift - no matter the size - helps us turn community into impact by funding scholarships for local, currently-enrolled UF students and supporting the programs that keep our Gator network thriving.
